Public Hearing for Unpaid Sewer Bills, Non-Compliant Sewer, & Snow Plow Ordinance

TIME AND PLACE:

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Minnesota City will meet at 7:00 pm on October 14, 2025, at the City Hall, 149 Mill Street in Minnesota City to discuss the issue of unpaid resident sewer bills, non-compliant sewer hook-up, and snow plow ordinance.

WHAT:

Council will determine the action that will be taken for unpaid resident sewer bills and additional charges that will be applied to these accounts.

Council will determine the action that will be taken for homeowners that are non-compliant and have not yet hooked up to the city sewer.

Council will discuss amending Section 2, Article 1 of Ordinance 37 to read “No parking on city streets during snowfall until the roads are cleared of snow”.  An opportunity will be given to all persons wishing to be heard for or against the amendment.
